Eyrie — instrumental trio from Japan

Eyrie is a Japanese instrumental trio formed by pianists Eiko Suzuki and Rina Kohmoto, alongside drummer Takuto Yamachika. Their second album Phoenix is inspired by Osamu Tezuka’s legendary manga, blending classical piano, jazz composition, and progressive drumming. Through unconventional instrumentation, Eyrie explores themes of life, death, and resurrection, positioning themselves as a distinctive voice in contemporary instrumental jazz.
