NOT TiGHT – DOMi & JD BECK

NOT TiGHT is the debut studio album by the duo formed by keyboardist DOMi Louna and drummer JD Beck, released on APESHIT in partnership with Blue Note Records.

The album distills the duo's technical language—characterized by blistering tempos, complex time signature changes, and a heavy influence of breakbeat and hip-hop—into intricate songwriting structures. Featuring collaborations from figures such as Herbie Hancock, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Mac DeMarco, and Kurt Rosenwinkel, the project bridges the tradition of jazz fusion with contemporary production dynamics.

The record documents the consolidation of two young virtuosos translating their organic social media interplay into a formal and innovative record release.
