Aga Derlak – pianist and composer

Aga Derlak is a Polish pianist, composer, and educator, recognized as one of the most vital voices in contemporary European jazz. Her background, which includes the Berklee College of Music and mentorship under figures such as Danilo Pérez, translates into a language that fuses classical tradition, Latin American folklore, and avant-garde improvisation.

A multiple recipient of the Fryderyk award (including Jazz Artist of the Year and Jazz Album of the Year), Derlak has consolidated an international career with performances on stages ranging from Jazz at Lincoln Center to festivals in Mexico and Ecuador.
