From Darkness – Avishai Cohen Trio

From Darkness is not a descent into shadow, but an exercise in purification. With this album, bassist Avishai Cohen reaffirms that the piano trio format—here joined by pianist Nitai Hershkovits and drummer Daniel Dor—is his natural habitat; a space where technique yields to a nearly telepathic unity.
